The East Bridge is now open! Remember last summer’s Hurricane Ida? She left quite an impact on the Mill, not the least of which was our bridge to an expanded parking lot facility and pathway for materials of all types to complete our Culp’s Garden Project. Ida wiped out the bridge and it is now finally repaired. To see photos of the repair process, go to the About Bondsville Mill Park Page, https://www.bondsvillemillpark.org/about2.html and scroll down to the large township truck. Once PA DEP and FEMA approved the reconstruction plan, East Brandywine Township’s road crew stepped up and did one heck of a complicated repair.
The Bondsville Mill Park is a unique township park. Our aim is to study, restore and preserve the natural habitat and to provide support and information that will inspire our neighbors to respect and care for nature in their backyards.
A park where visitors can see and contemplate history, and take time to honor and remember those that lived and worked in this historic village.
To inspire dreams for children and adults and to promote fun-filled activities that benefit health, well -being for the community and the environment.
